Let us introduce our staff
    Creative Sound Productions LLC was started by Blake Butz in 1980. Since then the company has grown to be a respected provider for DJ entertainment. We have forged exceptional working relationships with quality vendors and venues with outstanding client feedback. Clients often hire our entertainers strictly from strong recommendation from past clients.

 

 

 

 

 

In 1999 Creative Sound Productions underwent substantial growth. Our Iowa location moved to a commercial location located at 2024 Falls Ave in Waterloo, Iowa. (Currently there are less the 10 companies in the state of Iowa successfully operating from a commercial location).  Blake opened a new location in Elk River, MN serving the Minneapolis St Paul  Metropolitan, and Dana Anderson was appointed manager of our DJ entertainers in our Iowa office and does most  of our reception planning for our clients. A commercial location allows us to provide more services to our clients such as: personal planning meetings, custom voice-overs, Unforgettable Moments Photography and DVD, and Video montages. We now offer Hi- powered video projectors that can project a clear and visible image even in a well lit room with rear projection video screens, so they maybe use throughout the entire night without being in the way of guests or dancing.                                              .

Equipment

Creative Sound is proud of the equipment that we use. This system to the right, is our flagship system. Only one system is available for each of our locations. These systems allow our entertainers greater flexibility and creativity in their performances.

These system features the latest in technology; a purpose built computer featuring redundant hard drives, studio quality sound card, human interface device that runs our software, and supports a wireless video server. The server allows wireless integration into our ultra-bright 2600 lumen video projector. Music Videos, Video Montages, and TV Style Game Shows can be run from this integrated system.

The rear-projection screen and video projector can be used nearly anywhere in the reception hall.  The ultra-bright projector projects a bright and clear image even in a well lit room. Video montages can be used as the backdrop for the first dance, father daughter, mother and son, and wedding party dances. The possibilities are endless.

This system can also be used for TV style game shows. Imagine playing Family Feud composed with question about the bride & groom. These types of game shows are a huge success at corporate functions, mitzvahs, after proms, and of coarse wedding receptions. See our Other Services page for more on game shows.

The rest of our sound systems are computer and hard drive based so music is easily accessed.  A separate CD system is used in tandem in case one system should fail the other sound system can accessed to minimize any down time. Though this has not happened and should it occur; chances are no one will know a system has failed but the DJ.  We simply want your reception or event to be with out any interruption.

Creative Sound Productions is a proud Member of the American Disc Jockey Association.

The American Disc Jockey Association is a non-profit organization organized by DJs for DJs. The organization focuses on helping DJs build and grow their business and improve the overall quality of this industry, by providing outstanding leadership, education, and benefits.

The organization is the first and only to have emergency DJ services nationwide for events that for what-ever reason the DJ failed to show.

The organization protects it's members with the DJ- in- need program. If equipment is needed because of theft, or accident; the ADJA will ship the DJ gear to use at no cost until replacement equipment can be obtained. The ADJA wants the clients of it's members to have the highest quality entertainment with out interruption.
