Creative Sound Productions is proud of the quality of people that make our company. Our DJ entertainers are recognized by local vendor in the wedding industry and clients as top professionals.

The newest member of our staff is Amber Wilson who heads up our new Unforgettable Moments Photography division.  Her love of people, and ability to capture the spontaneity of family and friends enjoying the moment is amazing and unique. Amber is fully accredited photographer and graduate of Hawkeye Community College.

The combination of DJ entertainment & photography is revolutionary and practical, because of the unique synergy created by the familiarity, and great working relationship between entertainer and photographer, we are able to provide our clients with photographic memories that would not be  easily created any other way.

Creative Sound Productions looks for charismatic individuals, usually with previous experience in acting, public speaking, exceptional knowledge of music, and able to work with a variety of clients, vendors, and personalities. Because of the variety of tasks that outstanding DJs provide, we encourage our entertainers to become fully accredited bridal consultants, and members of the Association of Bridal Consultants.

Blake Butz:  Owner and founder since 1980.

Blake is currently working on a bachelors degree in marketing and minor in sociology at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. He has achieved high honors in academics and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He is an accredited bridal consultant and member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. He is the founding President of the Eastern Iowa Chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association. Blake is passionate about performing, loves people, and is a regular contributor for the Free the Children Organization. Though Blake loves working with couples and other professional in the wedding industry, he is most proud of his wife Mary of 26 years and his two children.

Dana Anderson: Manager of Waterloo Office

Dana has been performing since 1979, and got his start in radio. Dana joined Creative Sound Productions LLC in 1992. Dana manages our Waterloo Staff. He is an accredited bridal consultant and member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Dana does our receptions planning meetings for our upcoming wedding receptions. Dana has a Bachelors degree in theology from  University of Iowa.  Dana truly loves people; he works with the mentally challenged, and has donated countless hours of his time to charities. Dana is also past Grand Master of the Grand Council of the Royal and Select Masters of Iowa.

Brian is widely known in the Cedar Valley as a former on air personality for a popular radio station. While he was with the radio station he was voted "Best of the Best" in the Cedar Valley 2 years running. Brian has been with Creative Sound Productions LLC since. 1997. Brian's professional, but easy going attitude has made him a favorite with our clients. Shhh... I think its because he looks like Randy Travis.

Kendal has 9 years of experience. Many people know him from his days as president of student council while he attended Hawkeye Community College; he plans to transfer to the Upper Iowa and achieve a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Kendal is very outgoing and loves entertaining, and is rapidly becoming our most requested DJ entertainer. Our congratulations to Kendal, he is our newest member of the Creative Sales team. Kendal is a devoted husband to his wife Trisha and is expecting their first child in February.

Kevin has been entertaining since 1978, and has owned his own company before joining the Creative Sound Staff in 1998. Kevin’s extensive music knowledge, professional demeanor, and enthusiasm has made him a favorite with not only our clients but with our staff as well.
